Get Slim With Essential Oils- The Fat Burning Revolution

EmiliHey! This is Emili, Jen’s sister.  I think most of us have a couple unwanted pounds we wouldn’t mind parting
with. True? I’m going to share how new products have helped me and how they can help you shed extra lbs.

  1. Lindsay says:

This is my comment for the giveaway! I would most like the Slim and Sassy blend since I’m always looking for ways to keep at a healthy weight.

Either of other prizes would be awesome, too. I’d like to learn more about essential oils.

    • Monica says:

Do you know if the water has to be in a glass container or any type of plastic water bottle or metal thermos???

      • Jenni @ Mom Essentials says:

Glass or stainless steel containers are best for putting essential oils in the water and they taste better. The oils leech chemicals out of the plastic over time. :)

  2. Susanne says:

I’m commenting for the giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity! =) This is a hard choice! I would love the book since I have been looking for a good essential oil book for quite awhile. But I would also really like the other two. I’m trying to loose weight and I would like to compare your oils to those I’m currently using.

  3. Jessica says:

Ever since I received the email about this post I have been looking at the product everyday trying to decide if we can afford to try it this month or not.
To win it in a giveaway would be utterly awesome!

  4. Melissa says:

I would love the book. It would give me a chance to understand essential oils better as well as how to incorporate them into our healthcare choices. What a great give away!

  5. Jill says:

This is my comment for the giveaway. You guys are Amazing!!! I love reading this site and learn so much. I would love any of the options. I have been telling all my friends here about your oils and how wonderful they are! I have two boys with Allergies and Asthma and I can’t believe the difference these oils make in their treatment! Jenni and Emili our family loves you both and I wish you guys were closer so I could pick your brains all the time :)

  6. Karma says:

The book and mini kit both look great, but my choice would be the mini kit as I really haven’t worked with oils at all and think it would be a great start for me. Thank you for all you share on your site. Wish I could take it all in at once!

  7. Megan says:

I loved reading this post — it gave me hope that I might be able to get past my weight-loss plateau and it’s an extra big bonus that it’s a natural method! I am really interested in the Slim & Sassy for the giveaway, but since I don’t have any of the items, I’d really love any of it. Like Jill said, I wish we were neighbors so I could learn more from you! I’ll just keep reading.

  8. Becky L. says:

I haven’t used essential oils much, I’m just learning about them. So, I suppose the book would be great prize to get, but then the slim and sassy would be helpful in getting a few pounds off. The mini kit would also be great. Oh, I think any of the prizes would be fabulous!

  9. Kara Bagley says:

    Sounds like a great book

  10. Connie says:

I would love the Modern Essentials or the Slim & Sassy. I have been looking for a really good essential oils book for health. I was also really interested in the Slim & Sassy when I read your post.

  11. Laura says:

This is some really great information and has given me a lot to think about. I’m definitely interested in trying these products to lose some baby weight, but I think I need to exercise more first to see what happens :)

  12. ~liz says:

i’d love to try this. i have 5-10 more to lose as well and have hit a wall over the past few months of summer. i would love it all gone by christmas! :)

  13. Nance says:

It’s hard to choose, but I think I’d like Modern Essentials most. Then, perhaps, the Slim and Sassy. Thanks for the chance to win any of these!

  14. Kristine says:

I would love to be entered to win a copy of Modern Essetials!! I have many, many essential oils, and know some uses for them, but it is always nice to be even more informed!!

  15. Ruthann says:

This is my giveaway comment… I would love to win any of the three prizes, but the book Modern Essencials is very interesting to me, I’d love to read and know more how to use Essencial Oils in our daily life for health and wellness! Slim and Sassy would be my second choice! I would love to be able to get rid of some baby weight!

  16. Teresa says:

Where do I leave a comment if we want all three? Well if I have to choose only one it would be the book. Although I could use the Slim and Sassy just as much.

  17. Mandy Kirk says:

Wow I like all three options, but I would love to try the Slim and Sassy, I love how she said it gives her a boost of energy, which I would love. With taking care of my three boys, one of which has special needs, I can use all the energy I could get!!

  18. Mandy Kirk says:

I ‘liked’ mom essentials on Facebook and subscribe through google reader.

  19. Leah Spencer says:

I would like the Modern Essentials book, if I win. I’ll admit that I have all the products, but I bet the book will be falling apart by the end of the year at this rate. It’s my #1 go-to.

Second choice would be the trio pack.

Third choice is Slim and Sassy. As a breastfeeding mom, I found that S&S killed my appetite and was starting to hurt my milk supply. Feeding my baby is more important to me than losing weight right now. :)

    • Shannon says:

I love this essential oil blend, but I have heard that Peppermint may affect your milk supply. Peppermint is actually recommended when you want to start weaning your baby. Maybe in the meantime make your own blend by just adding a drop of grapefruit, lemon, orange and ginger to your water.

  20. Cori says:

I would love to win Slim and Sassy. Still working on losing that baby weight from 18 months ago…yikes!

  21. Joy says:

The Slim and Sassy sounds like it would fit the bill for me! I have more than 5 lbs to lose…more like 20. But having more all-natural tools in the cupboard will help!

  22. Naomi says:

I would love the mini kit!

  23. Krissa says:

I have the Slim and Sassy blend and this post was great to read and give me more ideas of how to use it and why. I think I need to try the GX Assist as well! This is a comment for the giveaway…I would love the book. :)

  24. Slim and Sassy is for me! Thanks for blogging.

  25. Heather says:

I’m so glad to hear a real story about it working. I’ll be ordering it next month!!! Unless I can win some first.

  26. Hannah says:

I would love the mini kit! Slim and Sassy looks fabulous, but I think I’d get more current use from the other oils.

  27. Amy says:

This is a comment for the giveaway. I just had my 6th child 3 months ago and the weight is not coming off like it has in the past. Maybe this is just what I need!
I would love to win any of the prizes.

  28. Serene says:

I would love to win the mini kit!!! My husband and I are still in college and are pretty broke so it would be a huge blessing! The peppermint oil would be especially helpful right now to curb my nausea. (I’m currently pregnant with our 2nd child!)

  29. tori harris says:

slim & sassy sounds like a good fit and I need it.

  30. Heather says:

I started using Slim & Sassy about a month ago. It’s been amazing! I LOVE the way it tastes and how it gives me energy.

It’s hard to choose just one of the giveaways I would like the best but I think I’ll have to go with the book. My friend has it and it’s been a wealth of knowledge for her (and for me when I call her and ask her what I should use) :)

    Thanks for sharing your experience!

  31. Shalynn Wilson says:

I want to win the slim and sassy giveaway because after getting thyroid cancer last year, my energy levels were shot. I went from working out 5 days a week to maybe 2 days every 2 weeks. It was all I could sustain. This lack of activity was not good and I gained 10 pounds. I now finally have my energy back and am starting to exercise again and could sure use a boost with the slim and sassy!

  32. Jenni says:

I appreciate everyone’s comments! I wish I could afford to send you all bottles of Slim & Sassy! Thanks for reading, and good health to you all!

  33. Heather says:

I’ve been using the Slim & Sassy for 3 days now. It’s a little hard to drink it though. I came back to re-read your post for some inspiration to help me gag it down and saw that you put it in capsules. I’m so going to do that!!!!

  34. Kate says:

I’d love to get ANY of the above. I’ve never read the book or tried DoTerra’s essential oils, though I’m very interested in both! The Slim & Sassy would be a God-send though if it could help me lose the pounds I’d gained before miscarrying.

  35. Maggie says:

I have a question that nobody seems to answer in any doterra website… can I take slim and sassy while breastfeeding; since it has peppermint?? I would like to use this product to loose all my baby weight…please any help!!

    • momessentials says:

There’s no hard data on the topic, which is why no one wants to give a firm opinion. From what I’ve learned, it may not be wise to take peppermint in high quantities in the first trimester of pregnancy. I learned this after 6 pregnancies, and I took peppermint oil internally with every one of them and had no problems. You may want to start with just a little so you can see if it affects the baby’s nursing. It could possibly change the way your milk tastes. It is generally considered safe to use peppermint on babies, so taking small amounts internally shouldn’t cause any problems. I’ve found that it helps my digestion and the baby’s. I have some baby fat of my own to lose, so you better believe I’m going to be taking it.

  36. valium says:

I’m impressed, I must say. Really hardly ever do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you could have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is excellent; the issue is one thing that not enough individuals are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing relating to this.

  37. Tiffany says:

I just started losing weight using this EO blend, I even started a video blog to track my progress. I am really enjoying the plan too. Come by my blog and say Hi. I love to read the info on your blog about getting slim!!!

  38. Betsy Love says:

So I just bought this essential oil blend. Is there any special way that I’m supposed to use it? Before meals, bedtime, 3x daily? Just curious…I’d like to optimize the benefits, but I’m still a little unsure how to use it.

    • Jenni @ Mom Essentials says:

Some people drink it in water, but it’s very strong that way. You can just buy empty veggie capsules at the health food store. I open them up and dropped 6-8 drops inside and take it 1-2 times a day.

  39. kathryn says:

I ordered this essential oil blend to basically calm my stomach. Does anyone know how to make it taste better? Really hard to handle the taste in water. Are there capsules available?

  40. maureen says:

Very great Info, thanks for the enlightment….am breastfeeding a 5 month old baby And am really looking forward to shed off the baby weight.
    Thanks again.

    • Jenni @ Mom Essentials says:

Thanks for commenting, Maureen! Just be aware that our essential oil blend contains peppermint, which can decrease milk supply. I used peppermint when I was weaning my last baby. You may just want to add a drop of grapefruit, lemon, orange and ginger to your water.
